The name SANOWET stands for the combination of a subsurface irrigation system with the unique water retention product SANOPLANT. The SANOWET membrane pipe is installed about 15 to 20cm below the surface in the middle of SANOPLANT treated growing medium.

Main advantages of system compared to conventional surface irrigation systems are:

• Reduced water consumption (up to 80% less)
• Immunity against mechanical damage
• Areas can be used while irrigation, because surface stays dry and
